Annemarie Ní Churreáin comes from the Donegal Gaeltacht in northwest Ireland. Her third poetry collection, Hymn to All the Restless Girls (The Gallery Press, 2025) celebrates Irish troublemakers and truth-tellers. Ní Churreáin has received awards from the Irish Arts Council, Centre Culturel Irlandais (FR) and the Hawthornden Foundation (U.S.). As a librettist she has worked on The Curing Line , a new opera by Straymaker (IRE) which was awarded the Fedora Prize 2025. Ní Churreáin is Yeats Society Sligo Poet in Residence 2026-28. She is the poetry editor at The Stinging Fly Magazine.
